Unique table pad and placemat design

Table pad design Many years of research and development has determined the design of the unique table pads and mats.

Every pad begins its assembly from a base of several layers of insulating material. This base is invisibly hinged and then bound with an outer covering of high grade leathercloth and a base covering of feltcloth which sits on and adds further protection to the polished surface.

The pad is approx 3/8" (9mm) thick and heat resistant to boiling point (212 °F, 100 °C) which tests have shown gives sufficient insulation for all practical purposes in the home. The sides of the pad or mat are strongly bound and sewn completely through their thickness making the finished article durable and strong for long lasting protection
