The Unique Folding Table Pad product was patented in the 1930s when production was started at Sloper Road, Cardiff, South Wales, by the Unique Folding Table Pad Company.

When the original owners retired in 1982, the business was purchased by Bury Cooper Whitehead Ltd, Royal George Mills, Greenfield where the Unique pads were produced to the same high standards as detailed in the original patent.

Bury Cooper Whitehead closed down in July 1998, and the business was transferred to Waterside Mills, Greenfield.

Anglo Recycling Technology bought the business in June 2009 and installed it in the craft manufacturing department in Whitworth, Lancashire where the table pads continue to be made in exactly the same way and with the same care and attention as they have always been.

Our Unique pads are made to the same high standard of quality and workmanship. Each set of pads is individually manufactured to suit customers' particular requirements - a genuine British-made product.
